Baby owl hat – all together ‘awww!”
I am thrilled to share this beautiful photo of a new Ruby & Custard fan – Lily Rose. Isn’t she just gorgeous? Her parents very kindly gave me permission to share these photographs of their new baby girl wearing a baby owl hat.
I blogged about this purple stripe baby owl hat a little while ago; little Lily Rose’s parents didn’t know whether they were excepting a baby boy or a baby girl so they chose shades of purple and cream so that this baby owl hat could be used regardless of the ‘flavour’!

I can make baby owl hats (and of course owl hats in much larger sizes) in any single colour or combination of colours. I typically sell four different owl hats ‘from stock’ which means they are usually good to go within 1-2 days but if you have something in mind I can create something just for you. I have done all sorts of combinations and plenty of baby owl hats that aren’t gender specific – in purple, cream and green. Anything is possible. Baby Lily Rose is so lovely; I really love to receive photos of people enjoying my creations. It is so wonderful to see hats in action, bunting decorating nurseries or in use at parties and crowns being used in photoshoots.
I also love to see photos of your creations made from my free patterns. It is so exciting to see what people make, the colours they use and the pattern amends they make – some of which I have been given permission to share on here like the little crochet bird beak.
