Crochet flowers are enough to brighten up anyone’s day!
The sky is grey and the rain never seems to be gone for long but I am trying to bring some Spring sunshine in to the house with beautiful crocheted pansies, narcissus, daffodils, forget-me-nots and roses.
The crochet flowers are destined for some heart-shaped clematis wreaths. I adore making these pretty hearts – they are covered in flowers of all sorts, leaves and pretty gross grain ribbon. The heart is made of beautiful twisted clematis twigs.
Here is one hanging on my neighbour’s front door last year – isn’t her door a gorgeous colour?! I just love it!
The hearts come in two sizes – small and large. The small hearts are approximately 16cm wide and deep and the large hearts are approximately 26cm wide and deep and hearts are hung on a length of pretty gross grain ribbon.
Small hearts are £16 and large hearts are £26. Please email me at millie@rubyandcustard.com to order a heart or to find out more.
Now the Christmas decorations are down the house looks so bare so I’m looking forward to hanging a heart of crochet flowers in my home. Fingers crossed the sunshine will soon return and the real flowers will start to appear. But, until then I will enjoy crocheting my own in front of the fire, cuddled up with baby Custard and the cats 🙂
