Fairy princess crown created – she shall go to the ball!
Last week the bigger of the two Custard babies came home with a letter from nursery explaining that this week they will be hosting Cinderalla’s ball and that everyone should come dressed as a character from a fairy tale. Hurrah! I have knight’s helmets, crowns and plenty of animal hats with which to create a costume but, my little girl, in spite of being a real tomboy announced she wanted to dress up as a fairy princess. We do own a pink tutu and fairy wings set but we had no suitable fairy princess crown or tiara….and let’s face it, no outfit for Cinderella’s ball is complete without a crown!
So, I set to making a fairy princess crown that would win the heart of any prince and that of my little girl. I had actually had the idea for a fairy princess crown a while back but never had found the time to make one. And here it is. Baby Custard #1 was very pleased with it!
It is made using 100% cotton yarn and fastened with Velcro to ensure a good fit and of course decorated with pretty button jewels. This crown is made using soft pink yarn but it could be made in any colour you choose.
Sizing is small (0-1 years), £14, medium (1-3 years) £16, large (4+ years) £18 and in grown up size for £20. f you would like to order a fairy princess crown please email me at millie@rubyandcustard.com
I also made a crown this week that is ready to make a long trip to New Zealand – Ruby & Custard is properly global now!
