Crochet valentine Love Heart sweet letters

love lettters download

Print off the letters download at 100%, I have sized them to fit. Take a scrap of felt and iron heat ‘n’ bond or similar appliqué paper glue to one side. Using the letters from the download as a template, carefully cut around them using the printed side up on the wrong side of the felt (the glue side) – this is fiddly! The letters on the download are mirror reversed so that when you turn the letters the right side up they are facing the right way!

Using a hot iron and a scrap of cotton to protect the felt from the heat of the iron, place the letters on to the heart and iron them into place. Be very careful not to pull the letters out of shape or move them on the heart.

Voila! You have a crochet valentine love heart sweet!

I attached mine to a card blank and created a homemade valentine but I am sure there are lots of creative uses for them! Enjoy and get creative! If you are interested in changing the letters, the font is called ‘stamPete’ 🙂

If you make something from this pattern I would love to see it! Please send any photos to millie@rubyandcustard.com. You might also be interested to check out some of my other free patterns :)
